Hypocrisy

Growing up you told me you wanted the best for me;

Yet all you seem to do is falsify your words to me.

I don’t need your dishonesty and hypocrisy!

Too many times I have let everything that has happened to me go;

Deep down inside of me is hurting and starting to show.

Showing it’s ugly self to me in the mirror,

praying that life would start to get much clearer.

Knowing it was you who couldn’t face the reality;

Even though the truth is right in front of you as plain as can be.

Deep down inside of you, you know I am right,

I don’t know why you want to turn your head and keep me out of your sight.

I’m the one you say that can not be trusted!

Yet it is not by I, that our relationship is busted.
