I Thank GOD!

Awake in bed I lye;

I thank GOD for my life.

I thank GOD my family is clothed and fed,

thankful they have a safe place to lay their head!

I am thankful for your sacrifice;

For without, the world would be as cold as ice,

filled with hate for one another.

Grateful GOD sent us our loving SAVIOR;

Once you find HIM your life starts to flavor.

I thank GOD with the LORD my chains are broken.

Can’t wait to be with HIM in the afterlife;

Feeling CHRIST’S love and light soakin’.

Digging into my pores so deep,

feeling CHRIST’S love from my head to my feet.

GOD I thank you for continuously blessing me;

For always being there and giving me THEE.
